Graphics
We chose to use a fun illustrated graphic style where the elements of the background (a typical frontage of a venetian palace) are used as tools for all the interactions, instead of standard buttons.
The screens are bright and vivid and the color is an important element because it has an emotional meaning. In the tagging function the color of the ‘tiding’ depends on the content of the message:
- magenta for a help request;
- yellow to share a beautiful and unique view generated by the water;
- green for crazy and bizarre events.
In order to create an aquatic and fun mood, we worked on the graphical animation of a rising wave that informs about the tide and moves the messages, and some water ripples on the map visualization.
