A project by Alberto Elizondo, Fosca Salvi & Fiona Yu
Mirabilia is a mobile phone application that allows visitors to lose themselves deliberately in a city. They follow a mysterious rabbit who guides them, teasingly, and hints when someone or something strange is nearby. In these partly guided wanderings they stumble upon the city’s unexpected and secret places.
Mirabilia is an old fashion Italian word that means wonder. We called our application this way because we would like that users will explore Venice as Alice explored wonderland, losing themselves deliberately in the city and discovering unexpected things.
Video scenario to introduce Mirabilia’s mood.
