Marina Andrade Câmara I came from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. After taking a year of Information Science at Universidade Catolica de Minas Gerais in Brazil, I took up Communication Science and majored on June 2005, at the same University. In October 2005 I won a scholarship at University of Siena, finishing a year later my first level master on Interaction Design. In September 2006 started the Visual and Multimedia Communication MSc at IUAV University.

Enrico Ausiello (project: Operazione San Gennaro)I was born in Torre del greco in 1983. I studied “industrial design” at “Seconda Università degli studi di Napoli” at Marcianise, where i attended the first level degree with a thesis called “bho”, based on Toy design, made with prof. Alessandra Cirafici. in 2006 with Elvira del Monaco, Roberto Ciarambino, Diego Liotta, Tiziano Manna, i have got a pubblication on progetto grafico 9, and I have got a pubblication on Enotria 2007, a wine’s book. I’m a singer of three band, called “Funky Pushertz”, “Torreggae” and “SUB all no starz”, and my dream is to design cartoon.

Laura Bordin (1984) (project: masQuest) took her Diploma at the Liceo Scientifico Sperimentale (Experimental Science High School) in 2003. In 2006 she graduated in Visual and Performing Arts at IUAV University of Venice, where her a thesis was Tim Stark and David Mamet. Riflessioni sulla recitazione [Reflections on Acting]. In 2007 she also took four Visual Communcation courses on the Industrial Design programme. She is now attending IUAV’s graduate programme in Visual and Multimedia Communication. Alessandro Carraretto (project: masQuest) I was born in Treviso in 1980. In 2000 I attended the 1st level degree in Computer Science faculty at Ca’ Foscari for three years. In 2006 I get a 1st level degree in Product Design at Iuav (claDis) and now I’m attending a 2nd level degree in Visual and Multimedia Communication at Iuav (clasVem). I worked for some design studios among which H-Art and I collaborate in some Iuav related websites like Teach Me (2003 and 2004) and Memoria e Racconto. Lorenzo Cercelletta (project: Ring tin tin), born in Italy in 1984, he enrolled in Industrial Design BA at La Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). He spent the last trimester in Lahti Polytechnic (Finland) as an Erasmus Student. Returned to Italy, he undertook a training period in Picchio Spa, to realize an experimental video-thesis titled ‘Bios’ with the video-artist Fabio Massimo Iaquone as his supervisor. He finally graduated with a Distinction and a Specialization in Visual and Multimedia Communication.He then enrolled at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in London (UK) winning a Postgraduate Bursary and getting his MA in Interactive Digital Media with a Distinction (IDM MA).He is presently attending the Visual and Multimedia Bachelor Degree (clasVeM, 2nd Level BA) at IUAV University of Venice.

Roberto Ciarambino (project: Operazione San Gennaro) I was born in Pomigliano d’Arco (NA) in 1983. I studied “Medical Biotechnology” at “Federico II” for two years. Then, i studied “Industrial design” at “Seconda Università degli studi di Napoli” in Marcianise (CE), where i got, on april 2006, my first degree, with my thesis project, called “Territori Immaginari”, made with Prof. Mario Pisani. In 2006 i have (with Enrico Ausiello, Elvira del Monaco, Diego Liotta and Tiziano Manna) an important pubblication on “Progetto Grafico 9″ with a social communication called “segnal’etica”. Now i live in Mestre to studing for the second degree in “Visual and Multimedial Communication” at “IUAV” in Venice. I like so much music, in particoular rap, and i’m a “Ganjafarm” member, a Neapolitans’ crew that trusts in HipHop culture.

Andrea Collet (project: Snowball) I was born in Conegliano (Treviso) in 1982. After two years of unfinished studies of civil engineering at University of Udine, in 2003 I started the Industrial Design classes at IUAV in Treviso, where in 2006 I got the degree with the project: Morpheus - helps you sleep. In 2005 I worked for the Design Associati studio in Mogliano Veneto (Venezia) as graphic designer. I spend most of the time with my pc, doing graphics editing and illustration. I like to discover new applications and learn to code. I used to make audiovisuals with AVS (examples here), but actually I’m moving to web-oriented programming environments. Antonella Coppola (project: Sardiniamo) Born in Trieste in 1982, she is attending a 2nd level degree course of Visual and Multimedia Communications at IUAV in Venice. She got a 1st level degree on March 2006 with a thesis on Mariko Mori, and a video called: Wave UFO in Venice: Reactions. She’s interested in video and web design. Francesca Cremonese (project: masQuest)Hi!I’m Francesca, I’m 23 years old, I come from Treviso, Italy. I studied Industrial Design in Treviso (claDIS) and my thesis project was about exibit design for the new kind of jewels (steel jewels). I did an internship of six months in visual design in Treviso, where I was involved in web design, flash animations and in organizing photographic shooting for creating company comunications.

Claudia De Angelis (project: Ring tin tin) was born in Civitavecchia (Rome), on August 5 1982. She studied Industrial Design at La Sapienza University of Rome.During this period she undertook a two months stage at Picchio Spa, a factory that produces car prototypes. The year after, she got back there to realise her thesis, an interactive spot realised as an answer to Picchio’s President for a new advertising strategy.She is currently attending the Visual and Multimedia Bachelor Degree (clasVeM, 2nd Level BA) at IUAV University of Venice.

 

Elvira del Monaco (project: Operazione San Gennaro)I was born in Caserta in 1984. In april 2007 i attended a first level degree in “Industrial Design” at “Seconda Università degli studi di Napoli”, with a thesis on “dinamic typographic font” made with prof. Daniela Piscitelli and with the help of Giovanni Lussu.In 2006 i have got a pubblication on Progetto Grafico 9 with Enrico Ausiello, Roberto Ciarambino, Diego Liotta, Tiziano Manna. I’ve done a stage at Studio Guida, a graphic and architecture studio in Naples, and i have done a stage of three months at Juggler, a fashion studio.

Patricia De Ross (project: Why No(u)t?) I’m was born in Caxias do Sul, south of Brazil. I’ve studied at the “Unisinos”, Vale do Rio dos Sinos University in Brazil where I took my degree in Communication Studies. I worked as graphic designer for six years at Dzigual Golinelli, design studio in Florianópolis, south of Brazil. Some of my work: www.designrelated.com/patiross.

Luca De Rosso (project: Note) I was born in Valdobbiadene in 1984. My first studies were about Electronics and Telecommuncations Technologies then i moved to Milan where I degree in Industrial Design at Politecnico. This summer attended the todo’s Touchdown workshop leaded by Giorgio Oliviero and Yaniv Steiner at Electrowave festival in Florence. Interests: Music, Electronics, Skateboard, Photography, Electronic Performances. my website

Valeria Donati (project: What’s Cooking?) She was born in Rome, Italy. She is graduated in Industrial Design at La Sapienza University of Rome. She studied Industrial Design in Lisbon at Universidade Lusiada in 2005 so she speaks and writes Portuguese very well. She did a stage at the Studio Ruggieri Poggi, a graphic company located in Rome. Now she’s attending the Laurea Specialistica in visual communication at IUAV University of Venice. She’s very fond of visual communication and photographic art. In 2006 she worked in collaboration with Dipartimento Itaca of “Università La Sapienza” in Rome to develop several merchandising products.

Alessandro Formaglio (project: Haiku) I was born in Monselice (Padua) in 1983. After hight hchool I attended 3 years of Claves (Iuav university, Venice) where I studied contemporary and modern art. In july 2005 I was a curator of exhibition Il male. Esperienze di Rappresentazione Quotidiana. In september 2005 I made an internship in a publishing house in Milan: Charta, where I learnt about proofreading, transliteration and layout. In 2007 I realized some graphic works for Monselice’s municipality. Now I’m studying graphic design and working as web journalist. My principal interest is digital graphic, in particular interaction design, web-design and animation.

Francesco Fraioli (project: Note) I was born in Venice in 1983 I living in Mogliano V.to (Treviso).Diploma at Liceo Artistico Statale di Venezia (arts high school) Bachelor of Arts at the IUAV University of Venice.I am currently studying for my second degree in Visual and Multimedia Design at IUAV-University, Venice. I’m very interested in visual communication and new media. I collaborated on performances aiming towards the interaction between electronic music and theatre. While working on those projects I realised the potential of software applications and have implemented that knowledge in my work on the Interaction design courses at university. my website.

Alessandra Franciosini (project: Why No(u)t?) I’m from Rome. I studied there and I obtained my Bachelor degree in “Industrial Design” at “laSapienza” University (2006); but I studied also in Lisbon for 1 year at the IADE (Instituto Superior Artes Visuais Marketing e Design) with the Erasmus exchange. I did an internship as graphic designer at 47thfloor studio communication design studio in Rome.

Alberto Granaiola (project: Why No(u)t?) I was born in 1980 at Schio (VI). Before university I worked as a surveyor in my town, then I moved to Venice five years ago to study Visual Arts and Theatre. I like 3d graphics, photography, play guitar and develop 3d game maps. I spend a lot of time in front of my pc.

Leandro Lisboa (project: Sardiniamo) I was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. I studied Social Communication at Pontificia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais. I worked as art director, graphic and motion designer at the university’s TV station, creating the new visual communication. After that, I founded a design studio with other students, where we explored mixing several kinds of languages like video, photo, collages, paintings and graphics. In 2004, I moved to Sao Paulo to work for some short TV advertisement companies as director’s assistant and post-production supervisor. In 2007, I decided to move again, to Venice, to study more about design, art and technology.

Alice Lucchin (project: Haiku) Hi! I’m Alice and I’m 24. I live in a small town near Rovigo in Italian countryside. I studied ‘Industrial Design’ at IUAV University in Treviso, where I got 1st level degree on 2006. I did three month on internship at “CISCRA”, a company that design corporate identities for other companies. In last workshop on graphic design I participated, with “B.lo Nardini”, my project of new labels for grappa bottles won. I’m interested in photography, video-making, graphic design and after this lab, also in IxD.

Anna Meneghetti (project: Sardiniamo) I was born in 1982 in Padua, where I live. I’ve studied at Padua University, where I took my undergraduate degree in Communication Studies, my thesis was in advertising communication, “Vogue, Glamour, Vanity Fair: profilo della readership e dell’utenza pubblicitaria di tre periodici Condé Nast”.I’m now attending the Visual and Multimedia Communication graduate programme at IUAV University of Venice.

Martina Pagura (project: Hacktion) born on 8.1.83 near Pordenone. Got the 1st level degree in “Product design” at “Politecnico di Torino” in July 2006. Studied at “Strate College” in Paris with an international exchange of 6 month in 2004-2005. Now attending the 2nd level degree course of Product design at IUAV in Venice. Stage at Fausto Boscariol Design in 2005 (Car and furniture design).Fascinated by electrical object and complex gears, need hand-works, always searching something new to learn. Interested in product, Interaction and graphic design, photography, 3d.

Nicola Plaisant (project: Note) Lives in Mestre, Venice’s mainland neighbour. Undergraduate degree in Industrial Design at IUAV University of Venice. In 2008, attended the Index summer camp at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design. Interests: drawing, painting, videogames, photography, sustainable design, interaction design and multimedia design. Please look at my website and youtube page.

Ivan Provenzale (project: Hacktion) Born in Siena (7 December 1982). Lived and studied in Siena, Malta, Rome. Graduated at University of Siena in Communication technologies (BA in Communication Sciences) in 2005. Thesis with prof. A.Rizzo on “The redesign of the experimental flight instrument ‘Cockpit Display of Traffic Information (CDTI)”. Internship in Winter 2004 at DeepBlue consultancy in the Human Factors team of the Mediterranean Free Flight project led by E.N.A.V. (Italian Air Traffic Control agency). 1st level Master at University of Siena in Environmental Communication Design in 2006. Participation in the Siena Design Project 2006. Interests: cyberculture, public transport systems.

Gabriele Rivoli (project: Ring tin tin) was born in Naples (Italy) in 1982. He enrolled in Industrial Design Bachelor Degree at SUN University of Architecture in Aversa (CE).He realized a thesis on the representation techniques and commercials for mobile phones and the production of a commercial for the mobile phone Neonode N1 supervisored by prof. arch. A. Cirafici and prof. F. Castanò.He is presently attending the Visual and Multimedia Bachelor Degree (clasVeM, 2nd Level BA) at IUAV University of Venice.

Maria Tasca (project: What’s Cooking?) after graduating in Design of Communication at the Politecnico di Milano, I moved to Venice where I’m attending the Visual and Multimedia Communications degree course at IUAV. Chiara Toncich (project: Snowball) was born Italy in 1982.She moved to Venice to study Painting and New technologies of Arts at the Academy.She developed her thesis’s idea “Wahrnehmungen-Percezioni”of a interactiv installation as Erasmus student at the UDK in Berlin. 2000-2006 she has exhibited her paints in Trieste, Venice and Berlin.

Valentina Venza (project: What’s Cooking?) Born in Brescia in 1984, she studied art in high-school, and graduated in Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano in 2007. She started to be intersted in web-design since 1999, when she built her first website (www.ellione.it), learning HTML, PHP and some Flash Actionscript. She now works at WorkOnWeb, a graphic studio in Brescia, as a graphic designer and web programmer.

Taddeo (Teddy) Zacchini (project: masQuest)Thanks to the working experiences for companies, graphic agencies and to the studies carried out at ISIA of Urbino and now in IUAV Venice I have acquired the knowledge to be able to realize a complete graphical system. For several years the net has allowed me to renew my graphical knowledge, allowing me to reach new solutions that could fit the request of every user who navigates in the wonderful universe of the Web.My passion for photography leads me to realize photos not as as a job but for a real emotive involvement and fascination for this incredible form of art.
