what is circuito Off?
It is an alternative international short film festival, which takes place just a week during the Mostra del Cinema di Venezia on the small and beautiful San Servolo insle.
The festival calls for a videomaker competition. It is a short but high level cultural showcase.
Besides it is open to new ideas and grows year by year.

why circuito off?
Because we are studing in Venice since a while and we finde the Venice night life terribly boring. We are sure Venice can offer much more.
We think Circuito Off is one of the rare good cultural (and not) alternatives to the “get-drunk venetian habit” or “get-bord by watching TV”.
When we started to design the concept, our idea was to design an alternative and nomadic Cinema open-air just to offer the possibility to everybody to have some good entertainment for free.
One of the first problematics was to define which kind of films choose and how do we get those films.
We really like the Circuito Off scheduling and philosophy.
So we started to imagine a collaboration with this Festival and developed the project even more closer to this event till we come out with the idea to propose Cinomadic as collateral event of Circuito Off.
It would be our small contribute to make Venice funnier and take advantage to its unique beauty.
