….Security issue

This software aggregates people, who doesn’t know each other, even if they share many characteristics (age, life experience, etc). Anyway we thought about safety and trust to be grant for users.

Safety

Only students who are living or had lived the Erasmus experience can join the service.
An email is sent to the student who is going to be in Erasmus, with a personal username and password.

Trust

Once a student is using the service she or he has different ways to protect herself/himself from unwelcome accesses.

A user can:
- set the status as busy or invisible
- not accept an invitation to meet
- block a contact from the acquarium

Finally, even if each mobile phone is GPS tracked to know which are the most crowded zones in a certain period, no personal data are used from the system.

We thought these features give the application a good balancing, also because it is not supposed to be used in private envitoments (like houses) but mostly in pubblic spaces (calli, campi, etc) and universities.
