The project’s name
Passage means:
• transition, both of time and of a physical or imagery condition;
• something that happens just for a short time;
• discovery phenomenon.
Of time:
• time is a never-ending flow, there is no present, only past and future.
• there is a collective time and a personal time.
• you perceive your personal time just when you stop and reflect about it.
The place
The installation’s place is Sotoportego De L’Abazia: a covered passage near the Salute church and Peggy Guggenheim Museum, in Venice. This calle used to be called Calle dei Morti and is always a very dark place with a mysterious mood. It is a very long passage (20m) and in the middle there are two doors face each other that have ispired our installation.
