EDUCATION
• Liceo Artistico (Arts high school).
• Undergraduate degree in Industrial Design (Graphic and Product Design) at IUAV University of Venice.
• Currently: IUAV’s graduate degree in Visual and Multimedia Communication, specialising in Interaction Design. I am in my second (final) year and will start my thesis project in September 2008. In Summer 2008 I did an internship at IDEO Palo Alto.
EXPERIENCE
• I am good at idea generation, planning the design process and the realisation of concepts in various kinds of prototypes. I also like doing illustrations. I can use Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash animation, Dreamweaver, Cinema 4D, AutoCAD, and have made prototypes using Processing . I am now learning Action Script and Reason (digital music workstation program).
• I am one of the contributors and developers of Random Clapping, the IUAV Interaction Design student website.
• I work as a freelance designer for an advertising agency, designing and programming websites and doing corporate identity work.
• In summer 2007 I attended the Index Summer Camp in Copenhagen, three weeks on sustainable design as well as interaction design.
• In Summer 2008 I am going to work as an intern at IDEO Product Development in Californa.
• I am particularly interested in sustainable issues and socially-oriented design.
LANGUAGES
Mother tongue: Italian. I am comfortable speaking English as the Danish summer school was held in English, as are the interaction design courses at IUAV. I speak some French and read it well.
