EDUCATION
• Technical high school in Electronics and Telecommunication.
• Undergraduate degree in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano.
• Graduate degree in Visual and Multimedia Communication, specialising in Interaction Design, at IUAV University of Venice.
EXPERIENCE
• From May 5 to September 27 2008 I was an interaction design intern at IDEO Inc., Palo Alto.
• In summer 2007 I attended the Touchdown workshop in Florence, a week of quick prototyping and testing of video game controllers.
• I am a contributor and developer of Random Clapping, IUAV’s Interaction Design student website.
• I am good at idea generation, planning the design process, and realizing concepts through various kinds of prototype.
• I enjoy making music and use several audio softwares and conventional instruments. I feel moat comfortable with Reason, Ableton Live, Renoise and Max/MSP. I like to make video soundtracks and audio effects.
• I am comfortable using Photoshop and Illustrator. I like to use Flash, in particular to mock up softwares UIs and build time-based interactions. I use Max/MSP and Pure Data a lot, often in order to control an Arduino board. I am quite good at building electronic and mechanical hardware prototypes.
